Description

The Return Centre (Returcentrum) is a unit within the Employment and Integration Department. The department as a whole is responsible for the municipality's reception of newly arrived immigrants and works to promote good integration as well as guiding and clarifying work capacity for individuals who are far from the regular labor market. The department aims to provide individuals with the prerequisites for self-sufficiency, education, and participation in society. This mission is carried out, among other things, through collaboration with other actors, both internally and externally, as well as through various forms of work training, internships, and subsidized employment.

At the Return Centre, work-oriented rehabilitation is conducted via a second-hand store with its associated tasks. The purpose of the activity is to support individuals in taking steps toward work, studies, or other paths to increased independence and participation. The unit collaborates closely with our other units within the department and with other actors both within and outside the municipal organization.

In addition to work-oriented rehabilitation, goods are received, reused, and sold in the operation. The store is a popular destination in Vännäs.

We are now looking for a temporary Team Leader for the department.

Job Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you have overall responsibility for the daily operations of the Return Centre. You are based at the Return Centre in Vännäsby and also function as a supervisor for a small group of participants, approximately 5-10 people. In the role of Team Leader, your task is to lead, support, and develop the employees in their work with the participants. You lead a team of fewer than 10 employees.

You allocate the organization's resources based on needs, develop routines, and coordinate and administer the daily operations.

As a Team Leader, you also receive assignments ordered from other municipal operations. You report to the Department Manager and work closely with employment consultants.

The position also includes administrative tasks such as ongoing administration, for example, invoice accounting, invoicing, etc.

Qualifications

You have at least one (1) year of experience in supervising and/or coaching individuals in labor market policy measures or equivalent.

You have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership/team leading within the public sector.

You have at least a high school education.

As a person, you easily build trusting relationships with employees, participants, and collaboration partners. You are independent, structured, and proactive. Working with participants requires a professional approach and great confidence in the participants' own strengths and abilities. As a leader, you are clear, communicative, secure, and friendly.

You must have a B driver's license (manual transmission).
