ABOUT THE POSITION
At Aktiv Assistans, we are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for our client in Umeå. This is a permanent position at 75% with working hours during the day and evening on weekdays. You will also work every other weekend.
The working hours are as follows:
- 07:00–15:30
- 15:30–22:00
Start date is by agreement, and we would prefer that you can start an introduction period as soon as possible.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a woman who lives an active family life. She resides in central Umeå. As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of the client's life and home, where your main task is to provide the support needed to create a safe, independent, and active lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
- Support with daily routines, such as household chores and cooking.
- Help with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing.
- Assistance and support with mobility.
- Support during exercise.
- Participation in leisure and social activities.

REQUIREMENTS
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
- Experience with children or experience working with children.
- Allergy-free regarding animals due to allergies within the family.
BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in care, elderly care, or personal assistance.
- Valid driver's license and access to a car.
Employment level: 1 permanent position at 75%, starting as soon as possible.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits are in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal status (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal status from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
