ABOUT THE POSITION
At Aktiv Assistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Holmsund, Umeå. The position is 50% and the work is scheduled during days and evenings on weekdays and every fourth weekend.
The working hours are scheduled as follows:
07:00-15:00
15:00-20:00
10:00-17:00 (weekends)
Start date is September 1st, but we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction before then.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a teenage girl with a great interest in music, play, exercise, swimming, outdoor activities, and spending time with her siblings. She needs your support as a personal assistant in daily life as she has cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and epilepsy.
Tasks:
Help with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
Support with transfers and tube feeding
Communication using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and picture support
Motivate and encourage during exercise and play

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working with people and the ability to analyze and understand others' needs. You are sensitive, proactive, solution-focused, and have a positive attitude. We particularly value your ability to motivate and encourage when the client's own drive needs strengthening. It is a plus if you share the client's interest in being outdoors. Personal suitability is highly valued.

REQUIREMENTS
Good knowledge of the Swedish language
No allergies to fur-bearing animals
Ability to tolerate chlorinated water
Ability to perform heavy lifting
Non-smoker
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in care and/or personal assistance
Care education
Experience with cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and/or epilepsy
Experience with AAC (TAKK)
Employment level: 1 permanent position at 50%.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as the applicant, can present a valid ID and/or submit a tax certificate (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. A tax certificate can be easily downloaded from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
