Personal Assistant and Relief Caregiver Wanted

The assignment involves providing support to a young person who needs an adult who can create safety, structure, and predictability. We are looking for you who have a calm and respectful approach, are responsible, and have the ability to read situations and adapt to the daily mood and needs.

The assignment suits you who have the ability to create calm even in situations that may become intense or unpredictable. You need to be able to read needs, adjust demands and pace, and contribute to a secure and clear daily life. It is important that you are a stable person, have patience, and can build trust over time.

About the Assignment

Location: Lycksele
Employment Degree: Approx. 75%

In the role, you will be present as support in daily life and during activities. The assistance can be performed outside the home, for example in connection with activities, outings, or other situations where support is needed.

The assignment may also include relief care. As a relief caregiver, the work may involve the young person staying at your home and receiving support in your home environment. It is therefore important that you have a secure, calm, and suitable environment for the assignment. This always happens by agreement and based on what is assessed to work best.

Overnight shifts may occur on weekends if of interest.

• enjoy being active and joining activities outside the home
• can work independently but also collaborate with the family and others in the team
• can consider working both as a personal assistant and a relief caregiver

Experience with personal assistance, working with children and young people, or similar assignments is meritorious, but the greatest emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
