Norrängskyrkan is a vibrant and warm collaborative church between EFS (Evangelical Free Church) and Lycksele Parish, located in the heart of a residential area – close to schools, preschools, and nursing homes. Here, people of all ages meet, and the activities are characterized by engagement through choir singing, children's, and family activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Together with your colleagues, you will be an important part of developing and leading the parish's choir activities. You will work with the children's and youth choirs Soul Kids and Soul Children, as well as with Soul Church services. Within the choir activities, this includes holding devotions, planning and leading services, and organizing an annual choir trip.

• You will help drive work within School Church, youth leader training, youth services, and confirmation activities – with a focus on creating safe, engaging, and meaningful meeting places for young people.

• You are responsible for developing activities for the age group 25–55 years. This may involve conversation evenings, game nights, "Everyday Dinner," after-work events, and other low-threshold activities that create community in everyday life. This implies evening work approximately once a week.

• The position also includes assignments within EFS Västerbotten corresponding to up to 20%, where you might, for example, take on the role of camp leader at confirmation camps.

• The position also includes administrative and technical tasks, such as responsibility for booking church premises and sound equipment, etc.

Your contact areas within the position are varied, and you will work with people of all ages. You will work with the Lycksele EFS association and with volunteer staff.

We are looking for someone who has…

● Education/work experience considered relevant for the tasks included in the position, for example as a church pedagog, leisure-time pedagog, etc.

● The ability to work independently as well as in a group. You are proactive, work in a structured manner, and have good communication skills.

● A natural ability to lead and motivate volunteer staff.

● A valid driver's license (Category B).

Personal suitability is given great weight. We expect you to have a personal Christian faith and be a member of the Church of Sweden. Knowledge of EFS is an asset. Overnight stays and weekend work will occur within the position.
