ABOUT THE POSITION

At Aktiv Assistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Nydalahöjd, Umeå. We are currently hiring for two vacant positions:

• 1 permanent position at 85% starting from September 1st

• 1 parental leave substitute position at 75% from September until December 16, 2026

For both positions, there is also an opportunity to work as an hourly substitute before and after the main employment. The working hours are scheduled as night shifts (awake nights) as follows:

• Weekdays: 21:40 - 06:40

• Weekends: 22:00 - 08:00

Start date is in September, and an introduction will take place before then.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a cheerful young woman in her 20s who needs help with all daily activities. The tasks include:

• Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing

• Medication and inhalation

• Mobility and transfers

• Not allergic to fur-bearing animals (there are dogs and cats in the home)

Employment level: 1 permanent position at 85% from September 1st, and 1 parental leave substitute position at 75% from September until December 16, 2026.

Salary: We offer individual salary setting. Other benefits are in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in your work. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal details (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you must provide a certificate of no criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both a certificate of no criminal record and a certificate from the suspicion register. The certificate is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
