Individuals under the age of 65 who have a disability and extensive needs for support and assistance can apply for personal assistance. A personal assistant helps someone with basic needs, such as eating, dressing, washing, and communicating. The assistance is individually tailored and aims to provide increased opportunities for people with disabilities to live an independent life.

Your responsibilities

The user is a young girl living in Tomtebo who needs support with all daily tasks, such as hygiene, feeding, physical exercises, inhalations, play, and tube feeding.

About you

As a personal assistant, you need to be attentive and empathetic, with the ability to focus on the user's needs. You are responsible, reliable, and enjoy creating safety and structure in daily life. Flexibility and patience are important, as is good teamwork skills and respectful treatment. The role often involves practical tasks, so attention to detail and a positive attitude towards helping where needed are valuable traits. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We would prefer that you are a trained childcare worker or have another care or pedagogical education with experience in caring for small children. However, this is not a requirement; the most important thing is your personal qualities.

To communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, and to write and read care documentation, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

The position is a permanent part-time role of approximately 70%, starting as soon as possible according to agreement. Working hours are during the day and on weekends.
