Do you want to combine project work with education and coaching, and contribute to giving more people the opportunity to develop a positive relationship with movement?

At our organisation, we work to ensure that everyone, regardless of interest, experience, or circumstances, has access to meaningful and joyful movement experiences. Interest in our work is growing, and we are now looking for a project worker who wants to help develop our projects and gradually grow into an educational and coaching role.

Your new role

As a project worker and educator, you will become an important part of our team, working on several development projects primarily funded by public grants and carried out together with partner organisations in Sweden and internationally.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing project activities alongside project managers and collaboration partners. You will build relationships, monitor project progress, and contribute to documentation and reporting to funders.

A key part of the position is your gradual development as an educator. Initially, you will assist in our training sessions and workshops, with the goal of eventually leading educational programmes, coaching, and development processes for stakeholders in areas such as schools, preschools, healthcare, sports clubs, leisure activities, and urban planning. You will also contribute to the development of educational materials and other tools.

As part of our operations, you will also participate in our recurring events, including our annual flagship event, and engage in collaborations with national and international partners.

Your profile

To thrive in this role, we believe you have a strong passion and curiosity for issues concerning people's equal right to participation, learning, and well-being. You are open, confident, and take a co-creative approach when meeting different people and organisations. Furthermore, you are flexible, solution-oriented, and self-driven, while also being a strong team player.

We believe you have:

  • a relevant university degree, for example in social work, public health, political science, behavioural science, or another equivalent field
  • experience in project work and collaboration between different stakeholders, preferably within the public or non-profit sector
  • experience leading training sessions, workshops, or other group processes
  • knowledge of, or experience with, work that strengthens people's prerequisites for physical activity from a holistic perspective on the person in motion (physical literacy), preferably within artistic or cultural contexts
  • excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Experience working on projects funded by, for example, Arvsfonden, Erasmus+, or other state or European programmes is a merit. Experience in health promotion, international cooperation, change management, or evaluation is also considered advantageous.

What we offer

Here, you will have the opportunity to work on projects and training programmes that contribute to addressing some of today's major societal challenges. You will become part of a dedicated organisation where we develop together, share knowledge, and collaborate with leading individuals and organisations both nationally and internationally.

We offer varied work with significant autonomy, a broad network of collaboration partners, and excellent opportunities for professional growth in the role of project worker, educator, and coach.

Employment

This is a permanent full-time position.

The workplace is in Umeå, but other locations can be discussed. Regular travel within Sweden and internationally is expected.

Does this sound like the right role for you? We look forward to receiving your application and hope to welcome you to our team.

Your application

We are recruiting through Din Rekryteringspartner. For questions about the position, please feel free to contact Tom Englén, Operations Manager, at +46 70-608 98 28 or [email protected].
