Job Description

In connection with the new Social Services Act, we are now strengthening our outpatient care with an additional family therapist.

You will be part of a work group consisting of four other family therapists, one of whom serves as the group leader. We are a small and pleasant workplace with close collaborations both internally and externally, for example with schools and other important partners.

We have several exciting development projects underway, with the greatest focus on early and preventive interventions. Outpatient care is a crucial piece of this puzzle, and you will play a key role in its continued development.

The workplace is characterized by active development and quality work, with regular operational meetings where quality is the focus. We also work actively to ensure that everyone has a good working environment and the necessary conditions to perform their duties.

Your Role

Our outpatient care primarily works with parents of children aged 0–19 who struggle to manage daily life and parenthood. The goal is to strengthen parents' abilities so that families are better equipped to handle their life situations, supported by evidence-based methods.

Outpatient care also works with youth in need of individual support, adults with harmful substance use and addiction, perpetrators of violence, and victims of violence. The role also includes conducting parenting courses and groups.

The expansion being made now will have a special focus on preventive work and work with youth. An important part of the role is to work proactively and represent social services in various contexts, such as family centers, schools, and youth clubs.

The role also includes:

• Providing therapeutic and supportive work with children, youth, adults, and families
• Contributing to early and preventive interventions
• Conducting parenting courses and groups
• Working proactively and building relationships in various settings
• Collaborating with schools, family centers, youth clubs, and other actors
• Representing social services in collaborative efforts regarding children and youth, such as HLT, the Presence Team, and SSPF

Working hours may occasionally be scheduled outside of office hours when necessary, for example during fieldwork.

Your Qualifications and Experience

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Treatment Pedagogy, or another education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Category B driver's license
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Merits

• Training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), network work, or other relevant further education in therapeutic work
• Experience in therapeutic work
• Experience in collaborative work regarding children and youth, for example within SSPF or presence teams

Employment

Permanent position, 100%.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) will be requested before employment.

Salary Range

36,500 - 43,700 SEK per month.

The final salary is set individually based on education, experience, and a holistic assessment of your competence.
