Our operations are conducted within the framework of the Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). We offer independent work where the user's security and experience are in focus. Your contribution with support and help on-site contributes to giving users the opportunity to continue living an independent life.

Description

The person seeking a personal assistant for their team is a man in his 40s with Down syndrome. The work consists of assisting him in daily life with, among other things, cooking, hygiene, cleaning, and accompanying him to activities such as day activities and horse riding. You will be part of a team together with four colleagues. The work will be scheduled during day, evening, and night (on-call) shifts.

We are looking for you who are proactive and can take independent responsibility. Being cheerful, encouraging, and enjoying working with people is a given.

To work in care and social services, you need good knowledge of the Swedish language. Competence in both spoken and written Swedish is required to perform care documentation, receive delegated medication, and communicate with users.

The starting salary for an untrained personal assistant with no or little work experience is 24,676 SEK/month (full-time). Vännäs Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting.
