We are currently looking for assistants for one of our clients living in Jörn. See below for a description of the client and the needs. At the moment, we would like to welcome two people who can work 60–80% with a start in the near future. OBS: Applicants must also be available to work most of the summer, starting in the near future.

If you are interested in extra work with a different setup, that can also be arranged.

The Assignment:

The client is a young man, just over 30 years old, with autism and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). To be able to live and make daily life function, he needs help with most things. As an assistant, you will support him with everything from dressing, personal hygiene, and household chores. The client also has a great interest in technology, video games, and electronics.

At the moment, we are looking for:

• Someone who can start working in the near future and who has the possibility to work during days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Overnight shifts can also be arranged.

It is important that you, as an applicant, are calm, sensitive to the client's needs, and able to follow routines easily. The client may sometimes need encouragement and motivation to perform certain tasks, as well as distraction if he gets stuck in an obsessive behavior. Structure and order are central.

Previous experience with autism and OCD is meritorious, but not a requirement. The most important thing is personal chemistry and communication. Speaking and understanding Swedish is, however, a requirement. Dogs are present at the workplace sometimes, so unfortunately, it is not possible to be allergic to dogs.
