Description

We are looking for a personal assistant for a fixed-term temporary position during parental leave. The employment level is 70%. Start date according to agreement.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a personal assistant for a young man. He is 24 years old and lives in his own apartment together with personal assistants.

The young man has severe autism and a moderate to severe intellectual disability. He also has epilepsy and is extremely sensitive to noise. As staff, you will assist him with support in all daily activities. The young man communicates using single words and two-word sentences, and he can write individual words.

He is at his day activity center during the day, and spends the rest of the time at home with you. You work evenings, nights, and weekends. When he is off during closure days at the day activity center and during holidays, you work with him at home.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have education as a personal assistant, nursing assistant, childcare worker, or other relevant education. A driver's license is required.

It is an advantage if you have experience with disabilities and knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).

Great importance is placed on your personal qualities. The successful candidate should be humble, responsive, calm, and self-assured, as well as flexible in their approach.

Conditions

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police register) is required prior to employment.
