A woman in Umeå is now looking for a personal assistant who wants to work as a substitute.

She has a physical and some cognitive impairment that means she needs support in her daily life. Currently, the position is during daytime hours, but night on-call duties may become relevant shortly.

About the assignment

As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in the woman's daily life. She leads an active life when her well-being allows it, and you are there to create security, continuity, and opportunities for her to live a rich and independent life. Since she sometimes experiences brain fatigue, it is important that you can adapt to her daily condition.

You also need to be aware that she is very sensitive to strong smells and is allergic to nuts – consideration for this is crucial in your role.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is calm, patient, and responsive
• Is engaged and wants to contribute to another person having the best possible quality of life
• Has the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others

Previous experience in personal assistance or care is advantageous, but your personality and attitude are the most important.
