ABOUT THE POSITION
We at Aktiv Assistans are looking for personal assistants for our client in Burträsk. The positions are hourly temporary assignments as needed, where you work when regular staff is on sick leave or on vacation.
Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and night with on-call sleeping shifts (4.5 hours), both on weekdays and weekends. For most of the day and evening, you work together with a colleague. Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start your introduction as soon as possible.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a man in his mid-20s who enjoys being outdoors, walking, grilling, swimming, using his iPad, watching movies, and much more. He has autism and epilepsy and needs support in his daily life.
As a personal assistant, your main task is to provide support with structure, routines, and motivation. You also help with personal hygiene, household chores, shopping, and accompany him to daily activities and events, such as visits to the swimming pool. You are also an important support in communication, where he uses aids such as picture support and an iPad.

We are looking for someone who is confident in themselves, has a calm and gentle demeanor, and can use humor with self-awareness as a natural tool in work. You have the ability to motivate others and can do so with a "twinkle in your eye," while being structured and following routines carefully. This is of great importance as the client's daily life is largely routine-driven.

REQUIREMENTS
Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with autism and low-affective handling
Employment level: 2 hourly substitutes as needed.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal information (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal information from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register control will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed in good time.
