ABOUT THE POSITION
At Aktiv Assistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant this summer at 65% for our client in Umeå. This summer temporary position will then transition into a permanent full-time position at 65% in mid-August! Our client spends most of the summer in his cottage in Kålaboda, while he lives in central Umeå during the rest of the year.
For the period of June, July, and August, the work is scheduled as 24-hour shifts on weekdays and weekends as follows:
16:00–16:00 (24-hour shift)
From mid-August, the summer temporary position transitions to a permanent position at 65%, and working hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends as follows:
08:00–16:00
16:00–08:00 (7 hours on-call during the night)
08:00–08:00 (24-hour shift)
Weekends 16:00–16:00 (24-hour shift)
Start date is by agreement, and we would like you to be able to start the introduction as soon as possible.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a 64-year-old man with a great interest in sports and cars! He lives in Ersboda during the week. In the summer, he enjoys spending time in his cottage in Kålaboda, where you will work as his assistant.
Duties:
Support with daily routines and household chores
Help with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing

REQUIREMENTS
Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
Valid driver's license (Category B)
Tolerance for smoke (the client smokes outdoors)
BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience as a personal assistant or other care experience
Employment level: 1 summer temporary position at 65%, which transitions to a permanent position in the autumn.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
