ABOUT THE POSITION

At Aktiv Assistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Tvärålund. The position is a parental leave substitute (75%) starting in June 2025 and running until August 31, 2026, with a possibility of extension. The work is primarily scheduled on weekdays during the day, with a total of 4 evening shifts per four-week cycle, and every other weekend.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 09:00–17:00
• 17:00–23:30

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction as soon as possible.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a man in his 60s with a strong interest in sports. He has previously suffered a stroke and therefore needs support in his daily life.

Responsibilities:

• Support with daily routines and household chores
• Help with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
• Assistance with transfers

The client uses assistive devices such as a tablet for communication, a breathing mask, a wheelchair, a slide board, parallel bars, and a floor lift if needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language
• Valid driver's license
• Access to a car
• Ability to tolerate the client smoking outdoors

MERITS

• Experience working with people who have had a stroke
• Experience as a personal assistant or care experience
• Care education or equivalent

Employment level: 1 position at 75% parental leave substitute.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
