ABOUT THE POSITION
At Aktiv Assistans, we are looking for dedicated personal assistants for our client in Umedalen, Umeå. We are seeking two temporary substitute employees who will have the opportunity for increased working hours during the summer when regular staff are on vacation.
The working hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends as follows:
- 09:00-17:00
- 09:00-21:00
- 21:00-09:00 (awake night shift)
Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a man in his 30s with an active life and a great interest in various activities, such as going to the cinema, dining out, shopping, and socializing with friends. He participates in day activities three times a week. Due to a herniated disc, he needs support in his daily life, and we are now looking for a personal assistant who can help him live an independent and meaningful life.
Responsibilities:
- Support with daily routines, such as household chores, cooking, laundry, and cleaning
- Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
- Assistance with transfers
The client uses an electric wheelchair and also needs aids such as a floor lift, shower chair, and respirator in his daily life.

REQUIREMENTS
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language
- Experience working as a personal assistant

Employment level: 2 temporary substitutes as needed
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and/or submit a certificate of personal data (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
