ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Aktiv Assistans are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant in a part-time position with our client in Malå. In this schedule, you will work a few shifts per week. This can vary between approx. 1–3 shifts. The need (hours per day) will increase over time, so you may work more in the future.

Working hours can be scheduled on weekdays or weekends as follows:

  • 08:30–15:30

  • 14:00–21:00

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a 57-year-old woman. She needs your help as an assistant in her daily life as she has dementia. The work does not involve heavy lifting; the focus is on pedagogical support, structure, and companionship.

Duties include supporting the client with:

  • daily routines and household chores

  • personal care and dressing/undressing

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people and can analyze the needs of others. Furthermore, you should have good patience and understanding. We require that you have cooking skills and enjoy cooking. The client requests female assistants, and personal suitability is highly valued.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic knowledge of the Swedish language

  • Cooking skills and enjoyment of cooking

MERITS

  • Previous experience as a personal assistant or in healthcare and social care

  • Knowledge of dementia care and interaction

  • Knowledge of the Russian language is a plus.

Employment level: 1 permanent position with 1–3 shifts/week.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal details (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
