ABOUT THE POSITION
At Aktiv Assistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in the central part of Umeå. We are currently offering work as a temporary replacement on an as-needed basis! Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends between 09:00-22:00.
Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction soon.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a man in his mid-20s with a strong interest in sports, gym training, music, films, and video games. He lives with a herniated disc and therefore needs support in his daily life to be able to live an active and independent life.
Tasks:
- Provide support in daily routines, such as household chores and creating structure in the day
- Help with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
- Assist with transfers and exercise

REQUIREMENTS
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in personal assistance or other care experience
- Care education or equivalent
- Experience working with people who have a herniated disc
- Driver's license and access to a car
Employment level: 1 temporary replacement on an as-needed basis
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
