From their first encounter with the world of preschool, all the way through preschool class, compulsory school, and after-school care, our staff do their utmost to ensure that every child and student receives the challenges and support needed to achieve their dreams and goals.

We are now looking for a new mother tongue teacher to teach Spanish to students in grades 1-9.

We place great emphasis on your ability to collaborate with all colleagues at the school. Teachers and study counselors work closely together in the daily school work. It is important that you contribute your experience, knowledge, and creative abilities in various ways to the development of the students and the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are/have:

• A certified teacher with qualifications to teach Spanish for grades 1-9
• Good knowledge of the curriculum
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Previous teaching experience is an advantage

As a person, you are proactive and self-initiating. It is also important that you are structured and relationship-building. To succeed in the role, you must also have good collaboration skills and be quality-conscious.

Mother tongue instruction takes place in mixed-age groups at several schools in the municipality, so it is an advantage if you have a driver's license and access to your own car.

The position as a mother tongue teacher includes both mother tongue instruction and study counseling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a study counselor, you are a support for the student by helping them with preparatory work and pre-understanding before lessons, participating during lessons, and conducting post-lesson work together with the student. Your task is to help the student understand and engage with the teaching so they can absorb the knowledge. You collaborate with subject teachers to give the student the best possible conditions.

For the work, it is important that you are open and have a strong commitment to guiding and collaborating with our students. You have a desire to develop together with other colleagues at the school and are interested in the life situation, learning, and development of children and young people. You also have a very good ability to build relationships with other people, both adults and children.

Scope: Part-time, 25%
