Tingdammsskolan is looking for a Primary School Teacher for Leisure Time Centres (Fritidshem) who wants to help continue developing and driving our leisure time centre in the right direction together with engaged colleagues.

For us, it is important to plan, implement, and evaluate the pedagogical work in the leisure time centre together with colleagues. We have a large number of qualified educators who plan together every week and work with systematic quality development for the leisure time centres. Here, we give students the prerequisites to grow, be challenged, and succeed through planned activities based on their individual needs, interests, and experiences. By building good relationships with our students, we lay the foundation for learning and create a meaningful leisure time for them. You will work to give students the opportunity to interact with peers through play, creativity, and movement in pleasant and purposeful premises. You will also work to develop the student's social, linguistic, and mathematical skills based on each student's individual prerequisites. The position includes planning and teaching students in our leisure time centre. During school hours, you collaborate in our classes and work together with teachers. Assessment of students in physical education may also be part of the role.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified Primary School Teacher for Leisure Time Centres. We would appreciate it if you have the qualification to teach Physical Education and Health. Previous experience from the profession is an advantage. You have good insight and knowledge of the school's steering documents and apply these in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills that enable you to independently lead and organize your work to create a peaceful study environment and a good learning environment for our students throughout the day. Your teaching is modern, and based on evidence-based research, you develop your work. With good knowledge and experience, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools.

To fit as a Primary School Teacher for Leisure Time Centres with us, it is important that you show interest and understanding for others, that you collaborate in the group, and contribute to promoting team spirit. You notice and reward others' contributions, you listen and consult with others, you support and care about others, you show respect for other group members' opinions and thoughts, and you communicate easily.

You should be a secure, present educator who feels a great commitment to your work. You have a good ability to collaborate with your colleagues and establish good contact with guardians.

About the Workplace

Tingdammsskolan is a grades F-6 school with 550 students located in Oxie, with fantastic opportunities such as nature trails, green areas, as well as spacious and fresh premises.
