Region Västerbotten – Primary Care County Assignment

Primary Care County Assignment is a basic unit consisting of several clinics. We see patients across the entire region within the framework of primary care but with certain specific assignments. Our operations include the Competence Centre for Maternal and Child Health, Primary Care Dietitians, Youth Clinics, Centre Against Violence, Alcohol and Drug Clinic, Incontinence Coordinator, Contact Centre for Children and Young People's Mental Health, and Digital Mental Health Clinic. Most of our clinics are located in Umeå and Skellefteå.

We are now looking for a Medical Secretary/Health Care Administrator in Umeå. In this role, you will support several clinics and interact with several colleagues in different professional roles. In Umeå, there are several colleagues with similar assignments whom you will work with and receive support from. Remote work opportunities exist under certain conditions.

Job Responsibilities

As a medical secretary/health care administrator with us, you provide important service and enable interventions that impact many people.

You will work with more than one clinic within the basic unit, playing a key role in our organization where different professional categories work closely together. You will provide support with, among other things:

• Handling referrals
• Reception and cash register duties
• Scheduling appointments
• Transcribing dictated notes
• Telephone service for patients and other healthcare units
• Other administrative work, such as improvement and development projects, as well as administrative tasks for training offered by the clinics

Additionally, you will work with the systems Agresso and Visma.

You are offered a varied and diverse job as we rotate between different tasks. Since healthcare assignments can change according to the target group and operational needs, your job content may also change over time.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a medical secretary or health care administrator.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience working in the medical record system Cosmic, as well as in Visma, Agresso, or have previous experience as a local system administrator.

You have a positive and service-oriented attitude, good administrative skills, and good proficiency in the Swedish language.

Both tasks and work pace vary with us, so you should enjoy variety and be able to adapt easily depending on what the situation requires. We are looking for someone who is empathetic, responsible, solution-focused, flexible, enjoys teamwork, and sees opportunities in change.
