Do you want to work with legal issues that contribute to secure and safe handling of information in an organization that meets people every day in important stages of life? As society changes and digitalization increases, work with information security, data protection, and preparedness is becoming increasingly important. We are now looking for a lawyer who wants to strengthen and develop the work within the Social Services Office. Here you will have an important role where you work closely with both the operations and various support functions to create structure, increase security, and contribute to a safer everyday life for both employees and residents.

YOUR ROLE

As an administrative lawyer responsible for information security and preparedness, you work both operationally and advisory with issues related to information security, cyber security, data protection, and preparedness. You coordinate and drive the work forward together with the operations and act as a link between the Social Services Office and the municipality's central support functions within areas such as information security, security, and IT. You are involved in drawing up plans and are part of the crisis preparedness staff. The role also involves cooperation with external actors and close dialogue with the administration's lawyers and IT object coordinators.

The assignment includes supporting the operations in following legal requirements, the municipality's steering documents, and recommendations in the area. You work, among other things, with analyses, follow-ups, and development of methods related to preparedness, information security, and data protection. You may also lead training, workshops, and coordinated improvement work where you help the operations translate requirements and guidelines into practical solutions for everyday life.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for you who have a law degree. Alternatively, you have other equivalent education, such as a legal scholar, combined with experience, for example, in information security or data protection.

It is meritorious if you have experience or knowledge in information security and data protection, for example, work with personal data, GDPR, or data processing agreements. It is also positive if you have worked with risk analyses, information classification, preparedness, or continuity planning. If you also have experience in contract review, drawing up contracts, or interpreting and applying laws in practice, we see it as an extra plus.

To succeed in the role, you need to be able to analyze information, draw conclusions, and propose solutions that work in practice. You work in a structured manner and can plan, drive, and follow up on your work independently. The role involves many contact surfaces, so it is important that you enjoy dialogue with others and have an easy time creating good collaborations both within and outside the organization. Good ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish is a requirement.

It is also positive if you feel comfortable leading workshops, training, or improvement work where you, together with others, contribute to developing working methods and creating understanding in the operations.
