Description

Rättvik Municipality is perhaps best known for its magnificent nature and its wealth of cultural traditions in music and art. In the northern parts of the municipality, where Furudal School is located, there are rich fishing waters, beautiful cultural environments, and a good selection of various sports facilities, such as an ice hall, golf course, ski tracks, as well as hiking and cycling trails.

Furudal School is a school with just over 100 students. The school is part of the northern principal's area together with the schools in Boda Kyrkby and Ingels. The schools have access to a student team consisting of special education teachers, school nurses, school counselors (SYV), psychologists, and principals who coordinate efforts and provide support. We also have a recess and safety team working to develop this activity.

Job Description

As a leisure center teacher, you will run the activities based on the leisure center sections of the curriculum. Your duties also include working with the safety team and conducting leisure pedagogy with younger students, especially preschool class. Leisure pedagogy is part of the school's early interventions to strengthen students in reading and writing acquisition. You will collaborate closely with class teachers, and you will have time for joint planning and cooperation.

You will be part of a work team where, together with other school staff, you participate in recess activities, physical activity, and the development of the entire school's operations. You will also become part of a larger work team within the principal's area.

As a leisure center teacher, you stimulate students' development and offer them a meaningful leisure time. You are clear about setting personal goals that you work towards, and you take advantage of students' interests by involving them in the pedagogical planning process. In meetings with guardians, you build trusting relationships and keep them well informed about their children's school situation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified leisure center teacher. As a person, you are stable, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. We are looking for you who are independent and quality-conscious with natural leadership qualities. You enjoy taking responsibility, driving the work forward, and inspiring others to achieve common goals. With your structured and solution-oriented attitude, you contribute to high quality in everything you do.
