RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a social pedagogue, you will serve as a resource in the educational context, working together with teachers and other staff in classrooms and other school environments. You will support both individual students and groups of students in both teaching and other social contexts. The position also includes some planning and teaching responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are educated as a social pedagogue, or hold other education that the employer finds relevant for the assignment. We would appreciate it if you have experience working with students in grades 7–9 with disabilities, primarily autism.

ABOUT THE WORKPLACE

The resource school is aimed at students who need extensive and long-term special support. It is a small unit with 12 students, 2 teachers, 3 student assistants, and 1 social pedagogue (this position). This provides greater opportunities for individual adjustments in teaching and the learning environment. The resource school works to create inclusive teaching and an adapted school environment for the students who need it most.

Junkaremålsskolan is a F-9 school located in Tranås. It is divided into two stages, and the upper secondary level houses approximately 330 students and 50 staff members. Our operations offer opportunities for student coaches, support teachers, and student health services to support students' development and learning. You will work together with the principal and colleagues to provide students with the best possible education.
