Our adapted primary school is growing, and we are facing an exciting development where we will launch our new unit, Agneberg School, in Hanaskog this autumn, parallel to our established unit, Vita School, in Knislinge. The schools collaborate closely, exchange experiences, and work together as a strong team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a certified music teacher who wants to use the power of music to create joy, development, and security? We are now looking for our new music teacher for a creative and varied position distributed across our two units:

• Music education at both school units: You will be the musical engine of our operations and responsible for music education for students at both Vita School (Knislinge, subject focus) and our newly started unit, Agneberg School (Hanaskog, subject area focus).
• Mathematics and Swedish at Vita School: With Vita School as your base unit, you will also complement your position with teaching mathematics and Swedish for a smaller group of students.

You plan, implement, and evaluate music education based on the curriculum for adapted primary school. You adapt the learning environment and music pedagogy so that it becomes accessible, understandable, and motivating for each individual student. In this role, you collaborate closely with class teachers, student assistants, and the school's student health team.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified music teacher. Since you are qualified in music for primary school, you also have formal qualification to teach music in our adapted primary school according to current regulations.

You have a strong commitment to the target group, great patience, and the ability to see and meet each student based on their unique prerequisites. Since the assignment is shared between two schools, it requires that you are flexible, have good organizational skills, and enjoy collaborating with different collegiums. You are confident in your professional role and use music as a tool for both learning and community.

Requirements for the position:

• Teacher certification with qualification in music.
• Experience working with low-affective approaches.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written).
• Category B driver's license (since the position involves working at both schools).

Merits:

• Experience working within adapted primary school.
• Experience or qualification in mathematics and Swedish for primary school/adapted primary school.
• Knowledge in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and visual support.
