About the workplace

Ulriksdalsskolan is a comprehensive school (grades 1–9) with approximately 700 students, including around 200 in the intermediate stage. The school opened in 2014 and has a diverse student body from the local area. The school is located in the Ulriksdal district, easily accessible by commuter train and bus. Beautiful natural areas are located near the school.

We are now looking for a Spanish teacher for a 50% position.

About the position

Together with other teachers, you are responsible for the pedagogical activities. You will teach Spanish. Part of the job involves developing the social climate so that all students feel well and thrive in the group, and providing students with basic knowledge of Spanish.

You conduct lessons, pedagogical documentation, and strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where all students feel seen.

School development in Solna includes language-enhancing methods, digitalization, core values, and adaptation of the learning environment. An important part of the work is to develop the social climate so that all students feel well and thrive in the group.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

• is a certified Spanish teacher.
• is qualified to teach Spanish in grades 7–9.
• has experience in pedagogical work.
• has experience with pedagogical documentation.
• has good knowledge of Spanish.
• has the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience working as a Spanish teacher.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, proactive, and interested in school development. You also actively work on developing pedagogical work in the classroom in a structured manner. As a teacher with us, you are relationship-building, have a desire to follow student learning, and are passionate about working with creative forms of expression. Furthermore, you take responsibility for your tasks and are calm, stable, and clear in your communication.
