Stockholm Exergi is Stockholm's energy company. We are approximately 800 employees working every day to reduce the climate impact on Stockholmers. We heat over 800,000 residents, and our 300-mile-long district heating network is the hub for the societal benefits we create. We have now started building a carbon capture facility at our bio-cogeneration plant in Värtan, with the potential to capture 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is more than Stockholm's road traffic emits during the same period. What can we offer you?

As an Energy Expert, your role involves conducting investigations based on customer needs and building conditions, as well as analyzing, dimensioning, and designing district heating and cooling systems and other technical systems in the building. You are responsible for your own customer assignments, which include responsibility for contracting, working environment, and budget. You prepare offers and complete action proposals, act as project manager for new and renovated district heating central stations, and perform inspections. District heating and cooling are central to our service offering, but the building's entire energy system and digital building services are also included. We are looking for you who have solid experience with energy systems in buildings.

You will join a team of ambitious, engaged, and knowledgeable colleagues who help and support each other. Your work will be varied, free, and stimulating, with good opportunities to develop together with customers and colleagues. You will have the opportunity to advise small and large property owners on resource-efficient solutions and smart energy efficiency measures that meet customer expectations while contributing to a sustainable Stockholm.

The position is a permanent full-time role based at our office in Hjorthagen, Stockholm.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a university/college with a direction relevant to the role.
• Experience working in the energy sector.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Good communication skills and ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
• Good knowledge of district heating in commercial buildings.
• Good digital skills.
• Strong technical knowledge in building heating, ventilation, cooling, as well as control & regulation.
