Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator / Safety Engineer for Project Assignment

Do you have experience in the role of Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator or Safety Engineer? If so, this role might be for you!

You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on a project assignment basis.

Role Description

The Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator/Safety Engineer is responsible for independently driving the project's health and safety work and serving as the project's contact person for the client, project partners, and suppliers.

The main task is to compile, maintain, and revise the health and safety plan for the specific project. This includes participating in relevant meetings, establishing routines and control plans, and ensuring compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Compiling, maintaining, and revising the project's risk register.
• Compiling training materials for the project's occupational health and safety training.
• Keeping the project's training log updated.
• Conducting occupational health and safety training within the project.
• Reviewing and providing input on work preparations from a health and safety perspective.
• Reporting, investigating, and developing measures regarding project accidents and incidents, and following up on these measures.
• Following up on health and safety measures and ensuring compliance.
• Conducting safety rounds and keeping minutes during the rounds.
• Managing the project's ID06 registration.
• Conducting exercises for safety and environmental accidents for all project personnel and documenting these.

Competencies

We are looking for you who have good knowledge of improvement, safety, health, and occupational health and safety work. You thrive working on-site at projects, are driven by communication, and are structured and solution-oriented.

You should have relevant post-secondary education such as a college degree (KY), civil engineering degree, occupational health and safety education, or equivalent work experience. You must have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar position with good references.
