We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Health and Safety Coordinator position in Arlandastad.

In this role, you will have a central function during extensive shutdowns where multiple contractors and subcontractors work in parallel. You will be responsible for ensuring that health and safety work is conducted in a structured, preventive manner, and in compliance with current requirements throughout the entire project execution.

You will work closely with operations, management, contractors, and the shutdown organization to identify, handle, and follow up on risks. Duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing risk analyses, conducting safety walkthroughs, participating in safety rounds, following up on incidents, and providing support to the project organization regarding health and safety matters.

The role involves significant presence on-site, where you ensure that work is performed according to agreed health and safety requirements and contribute to a safe working environment for all involved parties.

This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Futuria People and seconded to the client. The assignment initially runs until 2027-06-30 with the possibility of extension.

• Experience with BAS-P and BAS-U (Health and Safety Coordinators) in construction, civil engineering, or industrial projects
• Relevant education in the field of health and safety, including BAS-P and BAS-U certification
• Experience in coordination, leadership, or management within construction, civil engineering, or industrial operations
• Experience in risk management and systematic health and safety work
• Experience in conducting information meetings, training sessions, or safety walkthroughs
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Project
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Strong administrative skills and experience with documentation and follow-up

• Experience from the energy sector or process industry
• Experience with shutdown work or major maintenance stoppages
• Experience with behavior-based safety and BBS work
• Experience with incident investigations
• Experience working in safety-critical environments

Start Date: 2026-06-29

End Date: 2027-06-30 with possibility of extension
