On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Security Protection Specialist specializing in Personnel Security. The position is full-time and is expected to start on 2026-10-01 and run until 2027-10-01.

About the Assignment

We are now seeking an experienced Security Protection Specialist with a focus on Personnel Security for a long-term consulting assignment with a socially vital public organization.

In this role, you will be part of a function responsible for ensuring that the organization's work within security protection and personnel security is conducted in accordance with current legislation and regulations. You will work with security vetting, background investigations, and advice within personnel security, as well as contribute to the development of processes and working methods in the field.

This is an assignment for you who possess good interpersonal skills, high integrity, and experience in making qualified security assessments.

Responsibilities

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting security vetting and vetting interviews
• Performing background checks, assessments, and documentation
• Conducting background investigations within the framework of security vetting
• Educating and guiding employees within personnel security
• Identifying development needs and areas for improvement in personnel security work
• Contributing to the development of processes and working methods
• Monitoring developments in the external environment within the field of security protection

Job Details

Start Date: 2026-10-01
End Date: 2027-10-01 (with possibility of extension 1+1 years)
Scope: 100%, 40 hours per week
Location: Stockholm
Background Check: Security vetting and register control required (4-12 weeks)
Employment Type: Employed by Devotum, as the client does not approve subcontractors in this process.

About You

We are looking for you who meet the following mandatory requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in personnel security within the framework of security protection legislation
• At least 5 years of experience independently conducting security vetting interviews, background checks, assessments, and documentation
• At least 5 years of experience conducting background investigations within security vetting
• At least 2 years of experience from a government agency, municipality, region, or other public organization
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

The following qualifications are meritorious:

• Experience in educating, guiding, or providing advice within personnel security and security vetting
• Experience in developing processes and governing documents within personnel security
• Education in linguistics, interview techniques, interrogation, or equivalent experience
