Job Description

Are you a trained security guard and do you want to join us for the summer of 2026 with good prospects for continued employment and year-round work? Can you see yourself in the security industry? We can! Put on the uniform with us and discover a socially important operation with a great community and good development opportunities. If you are hired and are not yet a trained security guard, Securitas will cover the cost of your training.

The position is a summer temporary assignment, so we would like you to be available for work between weeks 25–33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so that you can plan your summer well in advance with both work and enjoyable activities! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a security guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a security guard in the city group, you will become part of a tight-knit team. Shift lengths vary, but are often 12-hour shifts, either day/evening or night. The schedule also includes work on weekends. The position is based in central Stockholm.

During the day and evening, you will primarily work by being present as a visible resource for creating safety in the city environment. Part of the job involves conducting contact rounds where you visit businesses that request increased safety. This also means you may handle potential disturbances or situations with an elevated risk level. Other tasks may also occur.

During the nights, you will primarily work as a patrolling security guard, responsible for performing surveillance at several clients during your shift. You travel between clients by car and carry out various types of checks, including area surveillance, indoor patrolling, alarm arming, and client lock-ups. In this role, it is important to document your work and any deviations you encounter. The work is independent and often feels free, but comes with significant responsibility. This role suits you if you want a job where you get to move around.

You need to be confident in acting in critical situations, able to keep a cool head, and follow routines even under stress. This role suits you if you want to contribute to safety, appreciate variety, and do not shy away from challenging situations.

Requirements

• Security Guard Training Vu1 and Vu2
• Passed grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Category B driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Have worked with similar tasks previously
• Have order maintenance training and a valid appointment

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you are required to have passed grades from high school in Swedish and English and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also become relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval according to the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns law-abidingness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when testing suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
