About the role

As a Security Clearance Specialist, you will take on a responsible role where, through structured analysis and well-founded assessments, you investigate companies and organizations exposed to Svenska Kraftnät's security-sensitive operations. Your work is crucial to ensuring that our collaborations take place under the right conditions and with high security clearance.

You will have a broad and varied area of responsibility, working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues within security and other parts of the organization. Your tasks will include:

• Supporting operations in the development of special security clearance assessments and reviewing these.
• Being responsible for conducting consultations with the Swedish Security Service (Säpo) regarding operational exposure, contacting other authorities, businesses, etc.
• Conducting suitability tests and supplier assessments.
• Training and guiding operations within security clearance/supplier security.
• Control and follow-up within the framework of the authority's work with special security clearance assessments.
• Contributing to the further development of operations, processes, and system support.
• Supporting issues regarding the design of security clearance agreements, cooperation agreements, and collaboration agreements.

Here, you will have the opportunity to grow – and help shape how security clearance is conducted in an organization that is central to Sweden's future electricity supply, while exchanging experiences with colleagues who have worked long in the industry.

You are placed in the Supplier Security unit and belong to the Security Section. The unit consists of two teams, 13 employees, and one unit manager. The group is a mix of employees and consultants with different backgrounds and competencies, creating a dynamic and developing work environment.

Qualifications:

• Relevant security clearance training or working life experience that can be assessed as equivalent.
• Several years of experience in qualified work with security clearance.
• Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.

Merits

• Experience of working with investigations.
• Experience of working with security clearance analysis, risk and vulnerability analysis, or other analysis work that can be assessed as equivalent.
• Experience of working in the public sector.
• Experience of working in case management systems.
• Language skills in addition to Swedish and English.

• Travel may occur in this role.
• The position is a permanent employment. A six-month probationary period may apply.
