On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Security Protection Specialist within personnel security. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on 2026-10-01 and run until 2027-10-01.

About the Assignment

We are now seeking an experienced Security Protection Specialist with a focus on personnel security for a long-term consultancy assignment with a vital public sector organization.

In this role, you will be part of a function responsible for ensuring that the organization's work within security protection and personnel security is conducted in accordance with current legislation and regulations. You will work with security vetting, personnel investigations, and advice within personnel security, as well as contribute to the development of processes and working methods in the area.

This is an assignment for you who have good people skills, high integrity, and experience in making qualified security assessments.

Responsibilities

You will, among other things:

• Conduct security vetting and security vetting interviews
• Perform background checks, assessments, and documentation
• Conduct personnel investigations within the framework of security vetting
• Educate and guide employees within personnel security
• Identify development needs and areas for improvement within personnel security work
• Contribute to the development of processes and working methods
• Follow developments in the external environment within the field of security protection

Job Details

• Start: 2026-10-01
• End: 2027-10-01 (with possibility of extension 1+1 years)
• Scope: 100%, 40 hours per week
• Location: Stockholm
• Background Check: Security vetting and register control required (4-12 weeks)
• Employment Type: Employed by Devotum as the client does not approve subcontractors in this process.

About You

We are looking for you who meet the following mandatory requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in personnel security within the framework of security protection legislation
• At least 5 years of experience in independently conducting security vetting interviews, background checks, assessments, and documentation
• At least 5 years of experience in conducting personnel investigations within security vetting
• At least 2 years of experience from a government agency, municipality, region, or other public sector organization
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

It is meritorious if you also meet the following requirements:

• Experience in educating, guiding, or providing advice within personnel security and security vetting
• Experience in developing processes and governing documents within personnel security
• Education in linguistics, interview techniques, interrogation, or equivalent experience
