The role of an Alarm Operator

As an Alarm Operator, you are the heart of our operations. Our alarm center, one of the largest in Sweden, handles over 1.6 million calls annually and provides service to customers from Ystad in the south to Kiruna in the north. You will handle alarms from private individuals and businesses, such as assault, burglary, and fire alarms. Your duties also include camera verification, property on-call duties, and security checks.

The work is characterized by a high pace, varying challenges, and a dynamic work environment. Your contribution will be crucial in creating security for our customers, our field colleagues, and society at large.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities we seek, you must meet the basic requirements to qualify for the position:

• be of legal age before starting the assignment
• high school diploma
• good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

You also need to be crime-free*, drug-free, have a sound financial situation, as well as good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security.

Previous experience working in a technical environment with good computer skills and experience handling customer contact by phone is advantageous. Experience with shift work, working in stressful situations, or from the security and service industry is also seen as a plus.
