Job Description
Background & Assignment Description

A security function within a socially vital organization is responsible for requirement setting, support, coordination, and follow-up of work regarding security-cleared procurements. The function handles the entire process from security assessments to the signing and follow-up of security clearance agreements.

The operations work to ensure that security clearance is maintained during procurements, contract signing, as well as collaborations and cooperation with external parties. The work is closely linked to compliance with current security clearance legislation.

As a Security Clearance Specialist, you will have a responsible assignment where you, through structured analyses and well-founded assessments, review companies and organizations that are granted access to or exposed to security-sensitive operations. The role is central to ensuring that collaborations and supplier relationships take place under the right conditions and with a high level of security clearance.

Responsibilities

The assignment includes among other things:

• Supporting operations in the development and review of special security clearance assessments.
• Providing support in matters concerning the design of security clearance agreements as well as cooperation and collaboration agreements.
• Conducting suitability tests and assessments of suppliers and cooperation partners.
• Training, guiding, and providing advice to operations within the security clearance area.
• Coordinating and conducting contacts with relevant authorities as well as other external organizations and operations.
• Contributing to the development and quality assurance of processes, routines, and working methods within security clearance.

Requirements

1. The consultant must have at least 5 years of professional experience in systematic security clearance work.
2. The consultant must have at least 5 years of professional experience in analytical work within the framework of security clearance.
3. The consultant must have at least 2 years of professional experience in conducting, reviewing, or developing special security clearance assessments.
4. The consultant must have at least 2 years of professional experience within public sector operations.
5. Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

Merits

1. The consultant should have at least 2 years of professional experience working with security clearance analysis.
2. The consultant should have at least 2 years of professional experience working with exposure to security-sensitive operations.
3. The consultant should have at least 2 years of professional experience working with assessments of protection values and vulnerabilities.
