About the role We are looking for a practical and solution-oriented shelter technician who works according to current standards and the guidelines from the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB). The role involves repetitive directives, ongoing inspections, and measures in civil defense shelters, as well as updating and documenting materials to ensure everything always complies with current regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform practical inspections and checks of civil defense shelters according to established standards and MSB guidelines.

• Carry out repetitive directives and follow-ups with responsible parties.

• Execute necessary technical measures and construction-related work in civil defense shelters.

• Assess deviations, propose solutions, and document measures in accordance with procedures.

• Create and update documentation and reports according to MSB requirements and current standards.

• Collaborate with clients, property managers, and other stakeholders to ensure shelters meet prescribed requirements.

• Participate in work meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of work methods and routines.

Competencies and qualifications

• Practical knowledge from construction or installation work, vocational certificates, or equivalent is highly meritorious.

• Experience working according to standards and following authority guidelines, preferably MSB-related.

• Good technical understanding and experience in troubleshooting and simple construction technical measures.

• Ability to work in a structured, repetitive, and solution-oriented manner.

• Strong ability to document work and communicate clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

• Current safety and occupational health requirements are followed in the work.

Location: Solna

Employment type: Consultant for 6 months, followed by takeover by the client company.
