The Intelligence Division conducts strategic and operational intelligence and analysis work in both crime prevention and revenue collection.
About the position
The Intelligence Division is seeking a Desk Coordinator for the National Desk. The National Desk is one of the operational branches within the Strategic Analysis and National Desk unit – Sand. The National Desk is led by a Group Manager.
In the role of Coordinator, you are responsible for leading, coordinating, and prioritizing the inflow of intelligence information and cases. You ensure that the handling is efficient, legally secure, and in accordance with current priorities and regulations.
As a Desk Coordinator, you will:
- Lead and coordinate the daily work at the National Desk together with the Group Manager
- Prioritize, distribute, and follow up on incoming information and cases
- Ensure quality and correct handling of information and registrations
- Contribute to a comprehensive national situational picture
- Follow up on operations and initiate and contribute to the development of working methods, processes, and routines
- Collaborate with internal parties, such as other divisions at the Swedish Customs Authority, and external actors, such as the Swedish Police Authority.
Are you the one we are looking for?
We are looking for you who have:
- The Swedish Customs Authority's basic training or other education that the employer considers equivalent
- Several years of relevant work experience, at least approx. 2 years
- The ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English
It is meritorious if you have:
- Analysis and Intelligence Training
Experience of:
- Analysis and intelligence work
- Case handling with independent assessments
- Leading, prioritizing, and distributing work
- Working in collaboration forums/functions with other authorities
- Working in systems such as iBase
- Knowledge of Register Legislation (TBL/TDL)
Personal qualities
The work requires that you have good analytical skills and that you as a person have strong social competence and good collaboration skills. You are responsible, service-oriented, and good at working independently within given frameworks and daring to take initiative. You are good at working both individually and in a group, and you treat people with both respect and understanding. You are stress-resistant in the sense that you can maintain calm in pressured situations, and through your good judgment, you are a good representative for the Swedish Customs Authority both internally/externally as well as nationally and internationally. You have an interest in contributing to the development of operations and its working methods.
The Desk Coordinator's tasks are performed in the intelligence operation's systems. Therefore, it is important that the person has a good understanding of systems and the ability to perform tasks related to the registration and systematization of information.

The position is a permanent employment and begins with a 6-month probationary period, with individual salary setting applied.
