About the Women's Shelter:

Linnéa is a drug-free emergency shelter for women. The residence is centrally located in Gothenburg and has 26 places. We accept placements around the clock.

Linnéa is a residence where we want to support the residents to take a step forward and move on to a drug-free independent life. We work towards increasing the sense of coherence, community, and positive routines in everyday life.

We are now looking for:

An available hourly employee who can step in with short notice and who is willing to work day and evening/night shifts, including sleeping on-call duty between 00:00–06:00. We would like you to also be available for day shifts and weekends. It may become relevant to be scheduled for certain weekends in the future.

The residence is staffed around the clock. During evenings, nights, and weekends, you work independently but have access to support through telephone standby.

To be considered for the position, a minimum of a 2-year education in a relevant field (can be ongoing) or at least 5 years of relevant work experience is required.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of a residential pedagogue include supporting the women living in the shelter based on individual work plans/implementation plans, as well as being a contact person for a number of them. Common tasks include supporting the woman with issues regarding housing, contact with authorities, contact with healthcare, urine testing, supportive conversations, etc.

The position also includes administrative tasks, such as documentation in our record-keeping system, Journala.

Household chores are also included to create a home-like environment for the resident women.

Personal qualities:

We are looking for you with a strong social drive and commitment to the target group, who wants to help influence people's lives for the better. You are calm and confident in yourself and can convey your calmness to others. Furthermore, you are structured, meticulous, and pedagogical.

The work group is characterized by community, helpfulness, and care for each other. To fit in, you must be honest, trustworthy, and both give and receive support.

Final candidates will be required to submit an extract from the Criminal Record.
