Job Description

Security guards play a key role in maintaining security at Sweden's most critical societal facilities. These protected objects, such as military installations, government agencies, energy facilities, and other critical infrastructure, are crucial for our society to function. Disruptions or attacks against these can have serious consequences for the entire country.

Security guards have authority and are specially trained to identify and prevent various types of threats, such as unauthorized intrusions, sabotage, and unauthorized documentation of sensitive areas. These incidents can pose significant security risks.

We are now looking for several security guards on a full-time basis for our Security division, where you will work to protect important and critical societal operations. In this role, you are offered not only meaningful work, but also the chance to become part of a larger context where your work is crucial for Sweden's security.

To describe the duties at the Lovön site as accurately as possible, we spoke with one of the security guards on site who describes the work as follows:

"For me, what stands out about the job is the nature-oriented environment in which you work. You also work with job rotation, which means you get to learn all different tasks and it becomes a varied job. In addition, it is a tight-knit group of people working here, and we come up with fun things to do together even outside of work."

This is a position for you with high integrity, good judgment, and a strong security awareness. You understand the seriousness of the mission and take responsibility for acting correctly even under pressure.

We would like you to have a few years of relevant work experience, preferably from a security-related position or another role where responsibility, reliability, and judgment have been central.

Employment – The position is a full-time employment.

Working Hours – We are looking for personnel for night shifts. In shift work, you will primarily work 12-hour shifts, according to a fixed quarterly schedule.

Location – Lovön, near Ekerö, in western Stockholm. 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Free parking is available if you use your own vehicle. Other locations may apply.

You will, for example:

• Staff the monitoring and control center
• Ensure that unauthorized persons are not granted access to the protected object
• Perform internal and external inspections within the area
• Be responsible for vehicle searches and transport control
• Work proactively with security and protective measures in and around the protected object

Education: Trained security guard. If you are a military security guard, the training is usually valid for civilian use.

Requirements

• Security guard training, military or civilian
• Passed grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Swedish citizenship
• Category B driver's license

Merits

• Professional experience from the security industry or similar operations
• HAS training
• Experience with vehicle searches
• Good physical condition
• Passed security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585)

Security Clearance
