About the Operations

The Elderly Care in Umeå Municipality works to ensure that older people can live an independent, secure, and meaningful life.

Within the area of elderly assessment and prevention, we are responsible for authority practice according to the Social Services Act.

We are in an active development phase where we strengthen work with legal security, equity, accessibility, and collaboration, in line with the municipality's goals for social sustainability.

About the Role

As an Operations Developer, you play a central role in our organization. You operate at the intersection of operations, management, and collaboration, where you both drive development and create conditions for others to succeed.

You contribute to ensuring our working methods are clear, sustainable, and adapted to the new Social Services Act.

You are part of the management group and work closely with unit managers, social secretaries, and partners – both within and outside the organization.

Your Assignment

With us, you will have a broad and meaningful assignment where you:

• Lead and develop forums for collaboration
• Strengthen cooperation both internally and externally
• Represent the operations in various collaborative contexts
• Contribute to the transition to the new Social Services Act
• Support and work together with managers and social secretaries in development work
• Create structure, shared vision, and sustainable working methods
• Work for increased accessibility, equality, and quality

We are looking for you who

• Have a degree in Social Work or other relevant higher education
• Have experience with authority practice
• Have worked with development or change work
• Have unrestricted knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of English

Meritorious

• Experience of development work or change work in a politically governed organization

And additionally:

• Are structured and have analytical skills
• Take initiative and drive your work forward
• Find it easy to collaborate and build relationships
• Are clear, pedagogical, and communicative
