Waxö Omsorg is a small care company offering support, service, and nursing care to adults with cognitive and neuropsychiatric disabilities.

TAKK (Picture Exchange Communication System / Sign-supported communication) is integrated into our work as part of the communication with care recipients. Experience with this is an advantage. About Vingen
Vingen is an activity-based day program with a work-oriented focus, offering developmental and stimulating activities for people with cognitive and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. Activities include, but are not limited to, retail, media, film, theater, and wellness.
We are looking for a support assistant for a creative environment where you will have the opportunity to be a proud and engaged employee.
A driver's license is required for this position as we perform transportation to and from our reuse shop.
Working hours are scheduled on weekdays.
Responsibilities
Contact Staff - As contact staff, you are responsible for documentation, implementation plans, and designing support at the individual level in accordance with Individual Needs in Focus (IBIC).
Activity Coordinator – You will have activity responsibility for our reuse shop and develop it in line with Waxö Omsorg's goals.
Additionally, you provide support to care recipients according to established routines.
About You
You have a genuine interest in working with people with support needs according to the LSS (Act of Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
You are good at seeing people's strengths and opportunities for development.
You are responsible and structured, with experience working pedagogically with people with various disabilities.
You have the ability to safeguard the individual's interests, participation, and influence through a motivating approach, promoting independence.
You have the ability to create meaningful activities using creative leadership that utilizes individual resources.
You have the ability to design clear and essential routines.
You have the ability to create security and predictability in daily life.
You have the ability to prioritize the individual's needs using a low-affective approach.
You understand the importance of communication and can ensure the individual's right to communicate on their own terms.
You hold a driver's license (manual transmission) and have experience driving.
How the Recruitment Process Works

A six-month probationary period applies.
Start date by agreement.
