Röda Berga School

The school is centrally located in Smedjebacken. The school has approximately 312 students coming from various parts of the municipality. The school's location offers beautiful green areas, proximity to forests, and open land. The staff and students thrive together and view issues related to knowledge, study environment, security, motivation, and tolerance as obvious and important areas of focus. We are looking for you who truly want to make a difference for students and who want to be close and support students in their development to achieve good results.

You will be responsible for Physical Education and Health, as well as some teaching in grades 1-6.

We have a nice sports hall where you and your colleagues in the Physical Education and Health subject team teach students in grades 1-6. You will be part of a work team and have close cooperation with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Teaching in Physical Education and other subjects in grades 1-6.
• Just like us, you work based on the core idea that we exist for the students.
• You put the student at the center of the teaching, and you see it as a given to find solutions that ensure all students succeed in your classroom and at our school.
• You are well acquainted with the assignment based on the curriculum, and you have leadership in the classroom characterized by structure, clarity, and calm.
• You follow up on students' knowledge development in close cooperation with colleagues, student health services, and home.
• You use extra adaptations in a way that allows individual students to succeed in school life based on their individual prerequisites.
• Other tasks may also occur, and the content and conditions of the work may change over time.

Qualifications

Teacher certification with a focus on Physical Education and Health is the primary qualification.

Are you a student teacher or do you have experience working as an unqualified teacher? Of course, you are also welcome to show your interest in working with us!
