The role of Childcare Assistant (Barnskötare) with us

As a Childcare Assistant, you work with caring for and supporting children in their daily lives at the preschool. You participate in both play and learning, helping children feel safe and curious. You collaborate with preschool teachers and help plan activities that suit the children's development. You also assist with practical tasks such as meals, rest, and outdoor play. Your work contributes to creating an environment where children can grow, have fun, and learn new things.

You are a person who enjoys collaborating and has a accommodating and attentive manner in your interactions. You easily build new working relationships and are good at nurturing those you already have. You take responsibility for your work, are self-reliant, and drive it forward with a clear focus on goals and results.

You have the ability to prioritize and plan your work effectively. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Personal suitability is given great weight.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained Childcare Assistant (Barnskötare).

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working in preschools

Our offer and other information

We offer fixed-term part-time/full-time positions ranging from 40-100% with a start date as agreed. The positions cover the autumn of 2026 with a possible extension into the summer of 2027.
