Your upcoming tasks will be varied and include administrative duties such as medical record writing, appointment booking, tele-Q, 1177, and possibly mail handling. Reception work may also be required as needed.

About You

You are educated as a medical secretary, doctor's secretary, or healthcare administrator. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and IT skills, preferably with experience in Cosmic and disease classification.

You have a positive attitude, personal maturity, and a willingness to collaborate to create the best results for the patient. You are service-oriented and self-reliant by taking responsibility and structuring your tasks. Flexibility, the ability to switch between independent work and teamwork, and engagement in continuous improvement of the operations are highly valued.

Your Future Workplace

The Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Clinic consists of the ENT Outpatient Clinic, Hearing Care, Pediatric Hearing Care, and Speech Therapy Clinic. We are approximately 60 employees working with the patient at the center; audiologists, ENT doctors, audiologists, hearing educators, special educators, sign language teachers, hearing care technicians, speech therapists, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. The specialty treats congenital and acquired diseases and injuries and covers both acute and non-acute conditions in patient groups of all ages. Our primary catchment area includes approximately 140,000 inhabitants in the southern part of Kalmar County. We have outpatient activities in modern and well-equipped premises, own inpatient beds on a joint ward, and operating resources at the central operation.

Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an acute care hospital with specialist care, maternity care, and neonatal care. Over 2,300 people work here to offer good care and high patient safety to the county's inhabitants.
