Sveriges Ridgymnasium AB is a stable organization that has been in operation for over 20 years. Today, our schools are located in four different towns across the country. We work purposefully to stay at the forefront of developing our schools and our pedagogy, with collegial learning being a high priority. Sveriges Ridgymnasium's vision is to be Sweden's best equestrian high school, and our goal is to provide our students with the very best conditions to develop their interest in horses and their talent, while simultaneously receiving a solid upper secondary education that prepares them for life, regardless of their future path. In Svedala, approximately 30 employees work, and approximately 150 students are distributed across the school's three year groups. The students study the Nature and Agriculture Programme, with a specialization in Horse Keeping.
What you will be working on with us
As a special needs educator (specialpedagog) with us, you will work on promoting, preventing, and remedial measures at the individual, group, and organizational levels to create conditions where all students can reach as far as possible based on their prerequisites.
The assignment includes, among other things:
- Follow and act in accordance with the school's value base and guiding principles: Quality, Participation, and Joy.
- Conduct pedagogical investigations, draw up action plans, and follow up and evaluate decided measures on behalf of the principal.
- Actively contribute to the work with extra adaptations and special support for students in need of this.
- Support students' achievement of goals and right to accessible learning through supervision, counseling, and competence development of the school's staff.
- Supervise and train staff as needed with the aim of developing the quality and equality of teaching.
- Keep well acquainted with current research, regulatory documents, and development within the special needs education field.
- Actively contribute to the school's systematic quality work.
We are looking for you who are trained as a special needs educator and wish to work 60–80 % starting in August.
