About the position

Hasslarödsskolan is a school for grades 4-9, located a 10-minute walk from the train station. Grades 4-6 have approximately 180 students and operate as a separate principal unit.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher with qualifications to teach in grades 4-6. You will work as a class teacher and collaborate closely with wonderful and engaged colleagues in the grade 4-6 team. We work purposefully to create secure relationships in the classroom while it is important that students acquire good knowledge in the school's subjects.

You are an employee who can offer students a good learning environment and have a genuine, positive attitude towards others. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a good study environment for our students. As a leader in the classroom, you are clear and structured and are confident in your leadership.

As a person, you are solution-focused and have good communication skills. You have good collaboration skills and are skilled at creating and maintaining good contacts with your colleagues, our students, and their guardians. You will contribute both to the team's work and to the school's systematic quality work. We are currently working on promoting reading in the team in collaboration with the school librarian.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching license and qualifications to teach mathematics, English, Swedish, Science (No), Technology, and Social Studies (So) in primary school.

You have the ability to adapt teaching based on the students' prerequisites, and your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, calm work environment, and a desire to learn. A success factor is that you can create trusting relationships in the school. Furthermore, you are a confident pedagogical leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and the work group's methods for continuous development.

As a person, you are communicative, receptive, and well-versed in and live up to the ethical principles for teachers, and you have a talent for analyzing and documenting students' abilities and knowledge.

Employment Terms

Employment type: Permanent position.

There is an opportunity to combine the work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment is made based on the organization's needs.
