Do you want an administrative and varied role? Then you might be the person we are looking for! Östersund Municipality is now recruiting an administrator to the Authority Unit within the Health and Care Administration.
The Health and Care Administration is the largest of seven administrations in Östersund Municipality, and at the Authority Unit, 37 employees work in various positions. The unit is primarily responsible for authority exercises according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments (LSS). There is a genuine care for those we work for, our citizens, where we strive to give them better conditions for health and well-being. Legal certainty and professional treatment are fundamental values for the unit's operations.
As an administrator at the Authority Unit, you will have a key role in creating structure and relieving caseworkers and managers who work with the unit's core issues. We are a team with strong cohesion among colleagues, and collegial support is a natural part of our daily work. Your new workplace is located in the Health and Care Administration's newly renovated premises at Sollidenvägen 64B, where we work in a special confidentiality zone with an activity-based working approach. We have annual working hours, and the working hours are office hours, Monday to Friday.
The position is a permanent full-time employment with an start date at the end of summer or as agreed.
Your new job
In your work, the main task is to relieve caseworkers and managers with tasks that lie outside the unit's core operations, where you free up time for caseworkers and managers to conduct well-founded and legally secure investigations, decisions, and follow-ups. The tasks include, for example, mail handling, archiving, purchasing, and responsibility for cars, bicycles, and IT equipment. The position also includes answering questions from citizens, participating in various working groups, and simpler case handling.
You will, together with the current administrator, be responsible for continuing to build a functioning structure for the various administrative tasks in the operations. In other words, a varied role with many different tasks, responsibilities, and the opportunity to develop and organize the job yourself!
Your qualifications
Requirements
- Upper secondary education
- Previous work experience in administrative tasks
- Category B driving license
- High level of computer literacy
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both orally and in writing
Merits
- Experience of previous administrative tasks within public administration
- Knowledge of the Social Services Act, LSS, legislation on public access and secrecy, and the Administrative Procedure Act
