Welcome to us!

A day as a Payroll Administrator in the HR Department
Every month, we process approximately 1,800 payrolls for our employees in Krokom Municipality. We are now looking for you who, together with your colleagues in the HR department, want to take clear responsibility and contribute to efficient, secure, and service-oriented payroll management. As a Payroll Administrator here, you will play an important role in supporting our organization with various administrative tasks within the payroll area.
In the role of Payroll Administrator, you support the organization by checking and registering payroll data, as well as providing service to managers and administrators via case management systems, phone, email, and meetings. You apply current laws and agreements, collaborating closely with payroll administrators, system administrators, HR consultants, HR strategists, and HR specialists. You are responsible for administrative tasks such as routine work, archive management, and updating manuals.
The work takes place in the personnel system Heroma, where the units themselves register the majority of the data, and the Payroll Administrator acts as support and quality assurance. We consider it natural that you, together with your colleagues, want to contribute to developing our working methods.

We are looking for you who:
- have education within payroll/administration or experience that the employer assesses as equivalent

- have high digital maturity and experience working in various digital systems and tools, for example, planning and organizing work within Microsoft M365 using Planner, Loop, OneNote, etc.
- find new digital solutions exciting and interesting
- have the ability to work independently and take initiative
- are a problem solver with a high sense of service
- have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing
We consider it meritorious if you have experience working with any of the following:

As a person, you are forward-looking, open, and development-oriented, with curiosity and a desire to contribute to improvements in operations. You thrive in change and see opportunities where others see challenges. You are communicative and have a good ability to adapt your communication to the recipient, context, and needs, which helps you create understanding and trust in your interactions.
You have a good ability to plan, structure, and prioritize your work efficiently, even when the pace is high or tasks vary. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and ensure deadlines are met with high quality.
Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and actively contribute to a positive work climate. You are receptive in collaborations, share your competence, and value dialogue and cooperation to achieve common goals.

Krokom, the municipality in the middle of Jämtland
Krokom Municipality's borders stretch from the shores of Lake Storsjön in the south, to the vast and wild mountains in the north, and in the east, the large forests of the northern inland begin. Here live just over 15,700 residents, in the middle of Jämtland County, with proximity to good communications to the rest of Sweden. Here there are fantastic opportunities for a rich cultural and outdoor life. People move here and want to stay, because here life itself takes place. The municipality is part of the Sami administrative area, which means we work to strengthen the Sami language, make the culture visible, and give the Sami people influence.
