Job Description

We are looking for a flexible and engaged teacher. You will have a holiday cover position and work part of your time at the after-school care center.

You will work in the school's special education group, where you meet students with varying needs regarding challenges in knowledge development but also with other difficulties in their school situation. The planning of the teaching is done in collaboration with the students' mentors in consultation with the special needs educator. You teach students in homework help/extra study time. You are responsible for planning and implementing language-enhancing activities during holidays. You are a secure and natural leader within the school's various operations. You have didactic and pedagogical skill and work for the students' best interest based on the goals set by the operation. You plan, conduct, and evaluate your teaching in accordance with steering documents, research, and proven experience from a relational approach. You have the ability to meet different individual needs through clarifying pedagogy and well-chosen support structures. You like to develop your teaching and to develop in your role as a teacher. You participate actively in collegial development work for professional development and higher goal fulfillment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach in grades F-3. You are a skilled pedagogue with good didactic ability and can organize and structure your work based on specified goals. You have good self-awareness, are secure in yourself and in your pedagogical leadership, and have the ability to meet students with different individual needs. You have high expectations for the students, believe in everyone's ability to develop, and are willing to create the best conditions for this. You have a professional appearance in your interaction with students, guardians, and colleagues while being sensitive and patient. You find it easy to collaborate and see collaboration with others as a source of development.

You have very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. You are curious, bold, and unpretentious. Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy, interaction with students within NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), and teaching students with reading and writing difficulties is meritorious. Experience and education in children's early language development and language-developing working methods are desirable, as well as experience with the Bornholm Model, Fonomix, Legilexi, national assessment tools, and national tests in lower primary school.
